To create this turnkey space for empty nesters to escape Wisconsin winters and host a crowd in style, Peabody’s Principal Interior Designer Emily Winters began the total renovation by removing walls to create the overall flow, fun and ease of the place. A neutral palette allows the designer’s deft use of color, especially the favorite green range, backsplash and cabinets in the kitchen – which is very colorful, yet highly functional. The open living area is spacious for entertaining, and can also be intimately comfortable. The master bedroom becomes a much-needed sumptuous retreat. The overall result is a bright collection of rooms that flow easily and are put to maximum use, beautifully.
